Major AVIA International Meeting in Belgrade

AVIA International is the largest and most renowned association of independent oil companies in Europe, bringing together around 90 companies across 15 European countries and operating more than 3,200 service stations under the AVIA brand.

The compelling concept represented by the AVIA brand — “Benefit from the advantages of an international group while remaining independent” — has endured for 99 years, and in 2027 AVIA will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding. The Swiss origin of the AVIA brand itself is synonymous with quality and reliability, while the upcoming centennial will further emphasize the longevity, resilience, and flexibility of the AVIA philosophy: “Together We Are Stronger.”

Recent years have been marked by turbulent and frequent oil crises, during which the independent sector has demonstrated exceptional resilience.

As members of the international AVIA group, AVIA companies operate locally and approach their customers in a flexible, adaptive, and personalized manner. This allows them to respond directly and swiftly to the real needs of local markets. The AVIA brand represents freedom and local influence, while simultaneously reflecting the regional strength of each individual AVIA member.

In Serbia, AVIA is represented by Radun AVIA, which operates a network of 27 service stations, with one additional station managed by a franchise partner.

For the first time, we have the honor of hosting the traditional annual gathering of oil company members from 15 European countries — friends and partners of the AVIA International family — in Serbia, in Belgrade. This is not merely a business meeting. It is a unique opportunity to share part of our identity, to introduce ourselves, and to demonstrate why we are proud of the country we come from.

As hosts, Jelena and Ivana Radun, representatives of the owners of Radun AVIA, wished to present Serbia in the most beautiful possible way — as an intertwined story of culture, history, tradition, and gastronomy.

For many of our guests, this will be their first encounter with our country, which is why their four-day stay in Serbia has been designed as a special journey through Serbia itself. Serbia is not defined by a single landscape, dialect, or flavor. It is made up of many, and we want our guests to experience them all.

During their four-day stay in Belgrade, our guests will have the opportunity to visit some of the country’s most significant cultural landmarks and hear remarkable historical stories. From walking through the streets of Belgrade and discovering its rich history, to visiting the Saint Sava Temple, the Nikola Tesla Museum, the House of Flowers, and Tito’s Mausoleum, where they will gain deeper insight into the political and social history of the Balkans during the second half of the 20th century.

The highlight of this journey will be the AVIA Gala Dinner, held for the first time in Belgrade, in one of the most significant and recognizable landmarks that helped shape this region into what we know today — the White Palace.

Through a carefully designed combination of gastronomy, folklore, and tradition, we will present Serbia through its four regions — beginning with the plains of Vojvodina, which fittingly marks the beginning of the Radun AVIA story, continuing through the vibrant western Serbia, authentic eastern Serbia, and ending with the passionate south of our country. Each region will bring its authentic flavors, characteristic music, dances, and customs that together form the richness of our cultural heritage.

Our exceptional head chef, Filip Ćirić, has taken this living history into his own hands and will present four authentic regional flavors in a completely new and modern way.

Quality Comes from Switzerland!

The principles upon which Radun AVIA was founded, and by which it continues to operate, are largely responsible for its place within AVIA INTERNATIONAL. A rational approach to business, characteristic of family-owned companies, along with fairness and respect for agreements as unquestionable values, are principles we share with the other members of the AVIA family. For many years, these values have been recognized by thousands of customers and suppliers with whom we continuously cooperate to our mutual satisfaction.
